What is Your MBTI meyer's Brigs type indicator? Discuss it.
I am an INTJ. Yes, I am a rare NT female. I've almost always tested INTJ the
other time I still tested as NT but INTP. I am not an INTP though, someone
thought I may be ISTJ and someone else suggested a hint of it too, but I am
not that.
What? I dunno what you're talking about mostly, but I know that I did some test thing and it said I was INTJ. Although it might be something different?
If it's saying you're INTJ, then that's very very likely the same test.
I'm a male INTP here, though I've also tested as INFP (so the third category isn't super decisive). I definitely have tendencies on both camps.
I'm INFJ. Evidently, this combination is rare, but it fits my personality.
For those who don’t know this topic is about a popular personality test used to see what
personality traits participants score high in. Unfortunately it is misused in some
organizations to evaluate potential employees which I recently learned it was not what it
was designed for. I haven’t taken it yet.
I had to do it for school.
I sincerely hope when this personality test was given as a school assignment the teachers told students to take it with a spoon full of sugar.
Meaning, it is fun, but don't base your life and choice based on the results.
They didn't, but I did.
INTJ
Smart girl. Smile.
Some people have been tested and that test decided whatever.
Once it was all said and done, that test really meant nothing, because the people went on to do exactly what the test claimed they couldn't or shouldn't be able to.
that would be misstyping, Wayne. if the results are write I don't go by the test
completely but a lot of what I do matches up quite well. It's almost too funny.
but I use Te a lot more then NI. For sure I use NI though. I am also Eneagram
type 1. Yeah, I think I remember you as INTJ voyager when I put up this topic
years ago.
Hell tabby, I think you're one of those that I talked about at first a mistype. I
can run my own series of questions on you, but I don't think you're INTJ. I can
be wrong though. Not many females mistype in to INTJ though, but I suppose
other similar types can. lots of ISTJs do but the couple I've seen mistyping as
INTJ who are actual ISTJ are male. there was also an ISFJ friend of mine who
clearly tested in to INTJ. I'll have to supply you with a descriptor. because you're
so young though, I may have to give you the child one. I always fit my INTJ
profile, even the adult one. haha! very well too. trust me I don't look at it and
follow it everyday or anything I don't go by type. rules aren't my thing, but
every time I look at the thing it's like that's right.
Reami, Yeah, female INFJ are more common but still pretty uncommon. males
are the more interesting ones. I think I attract them. I know two.
I suppose INTP/INFP are fairly common in both males and females. lol
no, NT females are rare. Most INTP are males? INFP are females. though I know
one INTP female and two now maybe 3 males? but none of you live in the same
area. either.
Ok I'm a psychology major and will say the following things regarding this.
Unless you take the full version actually written by Myers Briggs, I wouldn't believe shit. Be careful with these online shortened personality tests.
This test in general is highly controversial in the psychology community.
It has to be carefully scored.
I'm aware of that, don't worry.
I use it as a very, very loose sketch of someone. I don't judge people based on it or take it as any sort of gospel. There are far too many simplified versions floating around.
I mean hell, the fact that I've taken multiple versions of the test and show up as either INTP or INFP should tell you something.
I'm no psych major, but do have an interest in psychology. I see this, in a context like this at least, as nothing more or less than fun of a very slightly more well-informed variety than the average.
ISTJ or ISFJ here. Must have been angry or annouyed the day I scored the 'F'; hahahahaha.
and, if you know what you're doing, I usually run my own few assessments to
kind of fine out. I am usually pretty accurate. Mistyping can be common yes. I
often make my own assessments just by observing. I sometimes have to re-
type people, there are more and less accurate versions and the online ones are
more prone to biases.
I've turned out as a P only once. I was really in my writerly sort of academic
perspectival type of something. It's been consistent most times.
Fine. From my online prosonna, what am I?
DCF?
hahaha.
If the test is taken properly the first time, and directions followed, it shouldn't change. Just saying. Take only the original one.
That's actually not entirely true, at least not from my experience and understanding. If a person scores very close to the midline on any category, it is possible for them to tip the other way if the test is ever re-administered. I say possible, not likely or guaranteed. And you'd have to test very, very close to the midline to begin with.
No it shouldn't change usually I test only one way, I was amused when I got a
p. but also I know what answers get what letters too I've figured it out.
You're hard to tell wayne as I said but probably some sort of f and e. maybe a
p. I can't fully tell with you.
Yeah, agreed with greg I was pretty close to the line sometimes with the J. I am
at 11 percent sometimes my j is higher but mid level at most. I do have some p
tendencies but I don't believe I am p.
all this or any other test proves is that you can take tests well. you don't need a test to figure out what kind of person you are.
Umm... Never took this here test but I'm pretty sure I'm the crazy hermit living in the woods type.
turricane, MBTI isn't limited to a test. this is not apptitude, there isn't a right or
a wrong answer, and it isn't how well or poorly you do. If you have a skewed
notion I suppose. It's not about a right answer though, it should be true to you.
I can usually take someone talk to them for a bit and figure out there type. It's
more of a categorization of how people generally think.
by the way I am an ISTJ not INTJ. heh! I mistyped too.
Here's mine, I dug it up from another post on here:
ENTJ
Extravert(22%) iNtuitive(38%) Thinking(25%) Judging(11%)
I have to say I read about the results and what each part means, not sure I buy it. People are complex, which the test is trying to account for. I can very well see how employers would use / misuse this type of information.
I think you got mistyped I can't see you as an E. what version did you use, leo?
I don't remember. I did read the results and I felt like I got mistyped also. I'm not an introvert but I'm more middle of the road. It seems when I read about the four parts, I'm actually kind of middle of the road for all that stuff.
